I’m a passionate digital marketer who started my career performing and producing theatre. I witnessed how, despite the talent and dedication of my colleagues and I, show attendance disappointed night after night. Motivated to help solve this problem, I transitioned to the administrative side of performing arts, spending 5 years focused on digital and social marketing for regional theatres like Tony Award-winning Long Wharf Theatre.
Some people may think it’s especially difficult for non-profit organizations to harness the power of social media, but I don’t. These organizations have beautiful photos, compelling videos, devoted advocates, and valuable missions. The problem exists in knowing how to leverage these assets to create success—that’s where I come in.
In my current role as a social media professional at Quinnipiac University, I meld my lifelong love of storytelling with data-driven strategy and a hunger to stay up to date with the latest tools and best practices. My job is about fostering connection and creating pride in the vibrant community I serve.
I hold a B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Interactive Media and Communications from Quinnipiac University.
In my offline time, I enjoy asking for life advice from my cat, seeking European train route dominance in Ticket to Ride, and eating too many Oreos.
